A Talk

Compassion That Lasts

Practical ways to keep caring deeply while keeping your own cup full.

Book This Talk

The people who look after everyone else give their best every day. Their compassion lasts when their own cup stays full.

What the Room Receives

Strength for the people who give the most.

Keep Your Cup Full

Rest, recovery, and simple daily rhythms that refill what a full day of giving uses up.

Healthy Boundaries

A warm yes, a clear limit, and words for saying what you need, kindly.

Rituals Between Moments

A breath at the door, a hand on the heart, a minute outside: small rituals that let a hard moment go and bring you back.

Strength Together

Simple ways a team can lift each other up, week after week.

Morning light through a quiet window.

Caring people carry a lot. We help them carry it well, and keep their joy.

Chris Joy is a chaplain with years in intensive care, behavioral health, and hospice, a master's degree in theology, and a weekly writer of real stories. He has lived sober since 2008. Kayti Joy is a certified yoga, breathwork, and meditation instructor who has taught in classrooms and studios.

Three simple steps.

  1. Reach out.Share your date, your people, and what you hope they take home.
  2. Shape it together.A short prep call fits the talk to your room.
  3. The talk.Stories, practices to try together, and a plan for the week.
The Story

A breath at the door.

A team of teachers, nurses, or volunteers comes in tired. They learn one breath to take at every doorway, one way to close a full day, and one way to ask for what they need. A month later, the breath at the door is a habit, and the team is checking on each other by name.
