Spirit
Peace and purpose.
A daily path for your whole life: tend your mind, body, spirit, and relationships, and grow in meaning, hope, and resilience.
One fix at a time leaves gaps you can't see. Keep going that way, and the meaning, hope, and resilience you want will keep slipping away.

Begin The Grounded Way Try One PracticeLife gets busy, and days can run on autopilot. The Grounded Way begins by getting grounded where you are today, honestly and kindly, so you can be present for your days, your people, and the moments that matter.
Make your profile, meet your tree, check in, and choose what to add to your Today.
Each day, tend the four parts of you that you can shape: your spirit, your mind, your body, and your relationships. Practices, movement, whole food, rest, and real time together, woven through your whole day and your whole week.
Today lays out your day: your practices for mind, body, spirit, and relationships, your movement, your meals, and time together. Use Do Tomorrow whenever you need it.
Meaning and hope are hard to chase directly. Viktor Frankl taught that the deepest goods in life ensue: they grow from what we give ourselves to. Tend your four, and meaning and hope grow in their season.
Keep tending and watch your tree grow, with seasons and guidance there when life calls for them.
A tree grows strong when its roots, bark, leaves, and branches are tended, and so do you. Tend these four every day, and meaning and hope grow from that tending, ring by ring and season by season. Every part of your tree has a tree word and a plain word. You tend the first four each day. The last two grow from your tending, and your check-ins keep asking about them as the measure of your growth.
Each of the four always has at least one practice, by Grounded’s plan or your own routine. Tending scales to you: a chair routine, a short walk, or stretching in bed all count. When storms come, a tree tended every day bends without breaking, because its roots hold.
Your tree is set by your age: Maple, Aspen, Pine, Birch, Oak, or Sequoia. Seasons open inside your Way when life calls for them: Living Sober, and When Life Changes for grief and hard seasons. The Grove lets families, faith communities, and groups grow together. Heartwood, for couples, and Willow, for the last season of life, are companion apps beside it.
Everything below lives inside The Grounded Way: your tree, your plan, and Tending, together in one private place on your device.
A guided setup starts from the Growing Edges in your tree’s newest check-in, then walks you through each part of your plan, one screen at a time. Start Small offers a lighter first two weeks, and Your Week shows the whole plan before you save it.
Strength, Cardio, Flow, Yoga, Balance, and Stretch, in any mix, with the 12-Week Program: Foundation, Build, and Peak.
Seven guided meditations, as often as you like, at the time of day you choose.
Gratitude, kindness, quiet, or a sacred practice in any tradition, or none, in the way that fits you.
Weekly dinners from Grounded Recipes and Sunday Together Prep, sized for your household.
A few practices for your Growing Edges, each with its own rhythm: Daily, A Few Times a Week, Weekly, or Now and Then.
The Grounded Way opens on Today. Five tabs along the bottom hold everything else, and each one is shown here just as it looks in the app. Your tree comes from your profile, so every tab is made for your age.
Tab 1
Your whole day in order, with Right Now at the top: your growth plan practices, meals, workouts, Morning Quiet, your meditation, and your tree, each with a circle to tap when it is done. Your week opens from here too, with dinners, workouts, Sunday Together Prep, and one shopping list.
Tap the circle on one practice when you do it, and watch your day fill.

Tab 2
How each part of your tree is growing: Strong, Steady, or a Growing Edge. Check In or take a Quick Check-in right here, with questions made for your tree, and watch this season and your rings grow.
Take a Quick Check-in, about two minutes.

Tab 3
Your Growth Plan, one plan for your practices, body, mind, spirit, and your table, with your week, this season, your tree’s own book, and your family.
Open your Growth Plan and choose one practice to begin with.

Tab 4
Short lessons and guides for when life changes, chosen for your tree, each one playing right here in a small window.
Play one lesson, about three minutes.

Tab 5
One search box for everything: Grounded Recipes with Holidays and Gatherings, Grounded Fitness, Grounded Meditation, and every Grounded tool, on bright painted shelves made for your tree and your table.
Search one word, like sleep or calm, and see what is waiting.

Tap your initials, top right, for Numbers, Household, Settings, and Privacy, plus Who Is Tending? for everyone on your device, and How It Works, a short painted tour of the five tabs. The tour greets you the first time you open The Grounded Way.
Your tree’s Growth Plan brings one practice a day for each of the four to Today, in the order of your day, taking turns through the ones you choose. A check on Today counts in your tree too, so your progress and seasons keep growing.
Turn on Living Sober in your tree, and your day count, today’s mantra, words of encouragement, and your next medallion shine on Today and Grow. You define your own sobriety.
Tending is the heart of The Grounded Way. It fills Today and Week in The Grounded Way app, right beside your tree in Grow.

Choose one goal or several: Heart and Cholesterol, Steady Energy, A Healthy Weight, Strength, or Simply Eating Well. Tending builds your week from Grounded Recipes, every meal sized for your table, honors your food needs and allergies, and writes the shopping list. A calm kitchen voice reads every step aloud.

A short start-up check, then the path that fits: Root, Rise, or Thrive, or the Gentle path. Strength, Cardio, Flow, Yoga, Balance, and Stretch, at home, with light weights, or in a full gym, in 20, 40, or 60 minutes, with a coach’s voice for every move.

A few unplugged minutes to begin the day: a gentle timer, a painted dawn, and one calm line at a time, with readings one tap away.

Enter your own numbers and your own goal. Each lab shows its recommended range beside yours. On the LDL Path, each step shows its research-informed effect as a range, with its source, and you choose Do It or Pass. My Heart Risk keeps your doctor’s scores, with a PREVENT calculator to see your own estimate.

Track the food, never the body. A grown-up follows each child’s food groups, fruit and vegetables, protein, fiber, iron, calcium, water, and added sugar. Kids get a playful view with no numbers: eat a rainbow, move and play, sleep well. Teens track their own nutrients.

Your check-in and growth plan live in Grow, and each practice you choose joins your day on Today, so inner growth and everyday health grow together.

Seven guided meditations, one for each day of the week, each on its own painted scene with a candle and a breathing glow. The quiet fits the minutes you choose.

About 45 minutes together on Sunday, with a Cook and a Helper, sets up the week. Each dinner then comes together fresh. Add any recipe to My Menu, swap a meal, and the shopping list follows.

17 sets for the big days, from Thanksgiving and Christmas to a birthday, a potluck, or a meal after a service: a menu, a shopping list, and a prep timeline in the days before.
Every Grounded recipe starts from whole food on a Mediterranean base: vegetables, fruit, beans, whole grains, nuts, olive oil, fish, and poultry. Plant-based is a choice you add on top. Here is the full standard each recipe meets, and every recipe is open to browse in Grounded Recipes.

The starting targets, then shaped by your goal
Every path begins with a short start-up check. Then choose your level, your place (Home with your own body weight, Light Weights with a pair or two of dumbbells and bands, or a Full Gym), and 20, 40, or 60 minutes.
Learn each move well, build the habit, and grow steady, a few days a week.
More sets and steadier strength, for a body that is ready to build.
Full sessions for seasoned movers who want their strongest, fittest selves.
Chair strength, supported balance, gentle range of motion, breathing, and short walks.
The 12-Week Program grows Strength and Cardio through three phases: Foundation in weeks 1 to 4, Build in weeks 5 to 8, and Peak in weeks 9 to 12. Then you can start again one level up. Flow, Yoga, Balance, and Stretch fill the other days. Every workout plays inside its own painting, with a figure that moves with the count, a tree that breathes with you, and Auto Flow, so the whole session runs with no taps.
If any start-up question gets a yes, check with your doctor or physical therapist first, then come back and bring their plan into Tending. My Plan from My Team keeps their exercises just as they wrote them, with reminders on your day.
Tending lives inside your own profile, on your own device, locked with your passcode. Your food, workouts, labs, and family notes stay with you.
Save a backup file any time, and keep it wherever you like.
Tending offers guidance and support for healthy living. Its numbers are research-informed estimates, shown as ranges.
Your doctor knows your body best. Talk over your goals, your labs, and any new plan with them, and make every change to a prescribed medicine together with your doctor.
