A wedding ceremony is the heart of the whole day. It is the part your guests will remember, and the part you will want to remember too. We write every ceremony from scratch, built around your story, your people, and the promises you want to make.
Whether you want something traditional, something playful, something deeply spiritual, or no religious language at all, we will shape it with you. Chris leads with a calm, warm presence, so you can simply be there.

A first conversation
Free and unhurried. Tell us about the two of you, your date, your place, and the feeling you want.

Getting to know your story
We meet in person or on Zoom and ask the questions that bring out your story: how you met, what you love about each other, and what you hope for.

Writing your ceremony
We draft a custom ceremony and send it for your notes. We can help you write your vows too, and we revise until it feels right.

Rehearsal and the day
We run the rehearsal if you want one, arrive early on the day, lead the ceremony, and sign and return your marriage license.

Practical details
- In Minnesota, you get your marriage license at any county office, and it is good anywhere in the state for six months. Bring two adult witnesses to the ceremony.
- Couples who complete 12 hours of premarital education, which we offer, pay a reduced license fee of $50 instead of $125. Fees can change, so check with your county.
- We travel. Ceremonies within 30 miles of St. Cloud have no travel fee.
- Planning ahead helps, but we also do weddings on short notice when we can.

Yes, for an added fee. A rehearsal helps everyone feel relaxed on the day.
Is Chris legally able to marry us?
Yes. Chris is an ordained minister, legally able to officiate weddings.

Travel is free within 30 miles of St. Cloud. Beyond that, mileage at the IRS rate, plus lodging or airfare when needed.
