Three simple steps.

  1. Reach out.Share your date, your people, and what you hope they take home.
  2. Shape it together.A short prep call fits the talk to your room.
  3. The talk.Real stories, the four steps, and a plan for the week.
The Story

One day at a time.

A room fills with people: some counting days, some many years along, some who love someone growing sober. They hear a story that sounds like their own, learn four steps for a hard night, and leave with a plan: a walk at sunrise, a friend to call, a quiet minute each morning. A sober life, with a clear mind and a healthy body, one day at a time.

Anyone curious about a sober life, people in their early days or many years along, and the families and friends who love them. Each person defines their own sobriety.

Can you speak to students?

Yes. For students, the talk centers on a clear mind, a healthy body, and strong choices, and any question about any substance goes to a trusted adult.

What does everyone take home?

Living Sober in The Grounded Way, open to everyone and kept private on each person's own device, and a take-home handout with the four steps.

Is it faith based?

Each talk welcomes all faith traditions and everything in-between. A church may ask for faith woven in, and a school or workplace may ask for plain words. Both are welcome.
